Rauw Alejandro

Raul Alejandro Ruiz Ocasio Ruiz was born on the 10th of January 1993, is a Puerto Rican singer/songwriter. He is known as "the King of Contemporary Reggaeton"[2][3and is part of "the new generation of Puerto Rican urban artists. His first studio album, Afrodisiaco was released in November 2020. Vice Versa is his second studio album was released in June of 2021. It featured the lead single "Todo de Ti". From twelve nominations, he was awarded two Latin Grammy Awards. Raul Alejandro Ruiz who is a Latin Grammy Award winner was born in San Juan, Puerto Rico on the 10th of January 1993. He was also raised in Canovanas, and Carolina. His father, guitarist Raul Ocasio Ruiz, as well as his mother Maria Nelly Ruiz (backing vocalist) gave him a wide range of his musical influences such as Michael Jackson, Elvis Presley and Chris Brown. Six years ago, Alejandro and his father lived in the continental United States, mainly Miami and New York City, where he was influenced by the R&B and dancehall genres. [7][8] Alejandro and his fellow Puerto Rican rapper Anuel AA are childhood friends; they both went to the same school and had classes together. 9/10/10 Alejandro took part in school show as a youngster because he is a dancer. He enrolled at the University of Puerto Rico after the completion of high school. He played soccer from the age of six to twenty-five. But, he stopped playing because he couldn't perform the way he hoped. In the year 20 he suffered an injury. He eventually relocated to Orlando to see if he could be sought out by the Premier Development League (PDL). Rauw Alejandro's style of music consists of Latin R&B, reggaeton, rhythmic pop, and ballads. Billboard claimed that this has helped him make a name for himself among a growing group of reggaetones who are influenced by pop.
